The game uses 24 unique shape-color combinations called Shaplors, and your goal is to determine the answer key by selecting five Shaplors from the grid. Start by looking for Shaplors that are in the correct position.
Shaplors outlined in green are in the correct position.
Shaplors outlined in yellow are in the answer but in the incorrect position.
Use the values of the Shaplors to help narrow down the answer key. Keep track of the Shaplors youve already guessed to avoid repeating them. Use the process of elimination to eliminate incorrect Shaplors.
When a new game is started, 5 Shaplors are randomly chosen to create the answer key.
A player has 10 chances to determine the answer key.
The game generates a value for each Shaplor by adding the shape value and color value together.
The values for each Shaplor in the answer key are summed. In Normal Mode the Shaplors are also sorted by value from left to right, lowest to highest. There is no sorting in Hard Mode.
There are 3 shapes and 8 colors that make up the 24 Shaplors. In Normal Mode, the 3 shapes are randomly assigned 1 of the following numbers: 10, 50 or 100. In Hard Mode the shapes are assigned a 10 factor number of 10-100. The 8 colors are randomly assigned: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8.
The Shaplor value is determined by adding the shape value and color value together. For example, if the square is 100 and blue is 5, the blue square Shaplor is 100+5 = 105.
You earn points for each Shaplor you correctly place in the answer key. The score is based on the row in which a Shaplor is found, with higher rows earning more points. Additionally, you receive a bonus when you correctly guess the answer key.
